A direct answer to whether GTA 6 will support business ownership, grounded in Rockstar's design history.

PredictionThese are predictions based on Rockstar historical design patterns and are not confirmed.

Rockstar has not confirmed business ownership in GTA 6. Every flagship release since 2002 has shipped at least one ownable business mechanic. The base rate for a prediction is therefore very high.

The unbroken ownership lineage

Vice City (2002) introduced ownable businesses. San Andreas (2004) extended the pattern. Vice City Stories (2006) shipped Empire Building. GTA IV compressed but did not eliminate ownership. GTA V single-player included Franklin's, Michael's, and Trevor's businesses. GTA Online turned ownership into the central economic loop.

Historical contextEvery major Rockstar release for two decades has shipped business ownership. GTA 6 is almost certain to continue the pattern.

Likely form of ownership in GTA 6

Predicted: tiered investment, active-management plus passive-accrual, optional defence events, and integration with property ownership. The exact business names are unpredictable; the structural shape is highly predictable.
